Social Responsibility Report 2008

Since 2005, Coca-Cola HBC Italia has published its Corporate Social Responsibility Report to communicate the company's activities and performance to internal and external stakeholders.

In addition, an annual Group report discusses progress across our global business.

We aim to report our progress on material issues comprehensively and transparently. To help us do so, we follow the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), the leading framework for sustainability reporting

This is a way to reflect on the previous year and share our analysis with all stakeholders, partners, institutions, media and the community in which we operate.

The 2008 report is a continued journey from past years. It also is our commitment to do more and do it better. The way to read the report is to keep in mind two fundamental questions: “what has the company done" and “what does it still have to achieve” for the safety and quality of the workplace, the protection of the environment and our ability to operate in the market ethically and demonstrate a positive presence in the community.

The company approach to sustainability is fully outlined illustrating the actions carried out in four fundamental areas: the Marketplace, the Workplace, the Environment and the Community.

Data contained in the report describe the activities carried out in the four different areas using as a reference period the previous results from 2006 to 2008.

This year, for the first time, we published a summary of the Corporate Social Responsibility report to offer an immediate picture of the world of Coca-Cola HBC Italia describing the key topics.
